The Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission has conducted written examination on 34 posts of Driver (Vahan Chalak) under Group-C (Samuh-g) under various departments under state government. The recruitment has no reservation quota due to physical and mental fitness of candidates.

• Selection: Based on Merit List on Marks in Written Exam
• Qualifying Marks: 45% for General, EWS, Uttarakhand Women, OBC and 35% for ST and SC.
• Result Date: Late September 2024 (Expected)

Note: If a candidate gets qualification marks above 45% of 35% based on his/her category, it does not mean candidate’s selection in the driving test. As per official notification 6 times of candidates will be considered qualified for driving test as per upper limit in cutoff marks under different categories.

UKSSSC Driver Cutoff Marks & Vahan Chalak Merit List (Expected)

As per feedback from the students, the question paper was of moderate type, easy for those who have prepared for driver exam. Some of question are totally irrelevant and not from the syllabus. this also happened previously in other UKSSSC exams. The expected cutoff marks for driver exam are given below:

1. General: 32 or Above
2. EWS: 29 or Above
3. OBC: 24 or Above
4. SC: 22 or Above
5. *No reservation under ST or Uttarakhand Women.
