CTU Workshop Staff Syllabus 2024
PART-I
Numerical Ability:- Number Systems, Square Roots, Cube Roots, Fractions and Decimals, HCF and LCM, Ratio and Proportion, Simple Interest, Logarithms, Average, Compound Interest, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Calculate areas and volumes, Time and Distance, Work and Wage related questions.
English:- Basic English language, vocabulary, spelling, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, sentence completion, phrases and idiomatic use of words etc.
General Knowledge:- Indian history and culture, Indian polity including the Constitution of India, geography, economy and general science. Questions on Chandigarh UT, its administration, transportation, culture, history, geography, etc.
Elementary Computer Knowledge:- Introduction to Computers, Input and Output Device, Operating System, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Power point, Computer communication and internet, world wide web and web browser.
PART-II:- Respective trade/ category knowledge as per qualification required.

- The question paper has two parts, Part-I and Part-II.
- The duration of the examination will be 2 hours.
- There is no negative marking for wrong answer.
- Minimum qualifying marks for GEN,EWS,OBC is 30% and 25% for ST and SC.
- There will be no interview or practical test.
