Allahabad High Court Junior Assistant Exam Pattern

The recruitment process consists of the following stages: Written Examination, Typing Test (Hindi & English) and Document Verification. The written exam is conducted in an objective format with multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The key details of the exam pattern and typing test are given below:

UP District Courts Junior Assistant & Paid Apprentices Typing Test

The candidate will be provided a passage of approximately 250 words for Hindi Type Test, to be typed within 10 minutes on computer. Similarly, candidates will be provided a passage of approximately 300 words, for English Type Test, to be typed within 10 minutes on computer.

  1. Typing Test: Candidates who qualify for the written exam will have to undergo a typing test.
  2. Hindi Typing Speed Requirement: Minimum 25 words per minute (WPM)
  3. English Typing Speed Requirement: Minimum 30 words per minute (WPM)
  4. Typing Keyboard Layout: 104-key US QWERTY Keyboard
  5. Typing Font: Mangal
  6. Minimum Typing Qualifying Marks: 10 out of 25 for both Hindi and English Type Test)

General Hindi:- This section tests candidates knowledge of Hindi language, which is essential for understanding and communication in daily work. Key areas include:

  1. भाषा एवं हिंदी भाषा भाषा के प्रकार, हिंदी भाषा का विकास, कार्यालयी भाषा, हिंदी की बोलियाँ, उत्तर प्रदेश की प्रमुख बोलियाँ ।
  2. लिपि एवं वर्णमाला : देवनागरी लिपि का विकास, देवनागरी लिपि के गुण-दोष, देवनागरी लिपि में लिखी जाने वाली भारतीय भाषाएँ । स्वर एवं व्यंजन ।
  3. हिंदी वर्तनी (स्पैलिंग) : विश्लेषण, शुद्ध – अशुद्ध, विराम चिह्न ।
  4. शब्द संरचना : वर्ण, अक्षर, उपसर्ग, प्रत्यय, संज्ञा, सर्वनाम, विशेषण, क्रिया-विशेषण, क्रिया; लिंग, वचन, पुरुष, काल, कारक ।
  5. शब्द भंडार : तत्सम तद्भव, देशज, आगत (भारतीय एवं विदेशी भाषाओं से हिंदी में आए प्रचलित शब्द), एकार्थी अनेकार्थी, विपरीतार्थी ( विलोम), पर्यायवाची ।
  6. संधि : स्वर संधि, व्यंजन संधि |
  7. वाक्य परिचय : वाक्य की परिभाषा, वाक्य के प्रकार, वाक्य शुद्धि |
  8. अलंकार, मुहावरे, लोकोक्ति, (परिचय एवं वाक्य प्रयोग)
