ICMR NIN Technician Lab Assistant Syllabus 2024 Exam Pattern

National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) under Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has issued notification on 44 posts of Technical Assistant (GROUP-B), Technician-1 (Group-C) and Laboratory Assistant-1. The online computer based exam is expected to be conducted in the month of August and that’s why we have came up with its detailed examination syllabus and pattern so you can prepare wisely for your test.

It should be noted that ICMR NIN technical assistant, lab asst and technician syllabus mentioned here is for reference purpose online. In official notification only exam scheme is mentioned, well detailed syllabus will be posted soon.

General Intelligence: It will be both verbal and non-verbal type. Analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualisation, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgement, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, etc.

General Awareness:- Current affairs- national and international including economic issues, polity issues, environment issues, science and technology and any other current issues.

Quantitative Aptitude:- Time and work, Time speed distance, Percentage, Ratio, Profit and Loss, Number System, Permutation and combination, Probability, Average, Geometry and Menstruation.

English Language knowledge:- Basic English language, vocabulary, spelling, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, sentence completion, phrases and idiomatic use of words etc.

Relevant Subject:- Relevant questions as per prescribed qualification for the applied post.

ICMR NIN Technician Lab Assistant Exam Pattern

  1. Exam Scheme for Technical Assistant (GROUP-B), Technician-1 (Group-C) and Laboratory Assistant-1 is same for all posts except relevant subject of 30 marks.
  2. There will be 5 sections in the question paper.
  3. The duration of the exam will be 90 mins.
  4. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
