LIC HFL Junior Assistant Syllabus 2024 Exam Pattern & Interview

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) and its subsidiary Housing finance limited (HFL) will going to organise online examination on 200 vacancies of Junior Assistants (JA’s).

The exam will be conducted all over India but selection will be executed through state wise merit list. The final merit list will be based on marks obtained in written exam and interview.

Applicants can check their LIC HFL junior assistant syllabus and online written objective test pattern along with detailed examination scheme.

Junior Assistant applications forms are available on HFL official website (www.lichousing.com) with last date to fill is 14ht of August 2024. The online written exam is scheduled to be conducted in the month of September.

HFL Junior Assistant Online Exam Pattern 2024

LIC HFL Junior Assistant Syllabus 2024 & Online Exam Pattern online exam pattern

  1. Questions asked in the online test will be of objective type (multiple choice questions).
  2. Duration of online exam will be 2 hours (120 minutes).
  3. The question paper will be available in English language only. (No regional language)
  4. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer, no marks will be deducted for unattempted question, 1 mark for every right answer.

  1. English Language: Spot the error, fill in the blanks, synonyms, antonyms, spelling/ detecting misspelled words, idioms & phrases, one word substitution, improvement of sentences, active/ passive voice of verbs, conversion into direct indirect narration, shuffling of sentence parts, shuffling of sentences in a passage, close passage & comprehension passage.
  2. Logical Reasoning: It will be both verbal and non-verbal types. Directions and Distance, Order and Ranking, Sitting Arrangement, Clock, Calendar, Dice, Syllogism, Blood Relations, Statements and Conclusions. Test may include questions on similarities, differences, analogies, space visualisation, problem solving, analysis, judgement,, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, verbal and figure classification, etc.
  3. General Awareness: National and International current events. India’s History, Polity, Constitution, Sports, Art & Culture Geography, Economics, Everyday Science, Scientific Research, National/international Organisations /institutions, etc. General Knowledge questions related to Indian Banking and Finance Sector, Important banking and finance terms, institutes, govt policies, national finance schemes, etc.
  4. Numerical Ability: Number systems, Simplification, Decimals, Data interpretation, Fractions, L.C.M, H.C.F, Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs.
  5. Computer Skill: Introduction of computer, hardware, software, input device, memory, storage devices, CPU, output devices and parts of computer, general knowledge related to computer internet and networking, MS word, MS powerpoint, MS excel, web browser, email, firewall, virus and antivirus.
