The Computer-Based Test (CBT) is designed to evaluate candidates knowledge in both technical and non-technical areas. Here’s an overview of BSPHCL Junior Electrical Engineer exam pattern:

  2. Question Type: Objective (Multiple Choice Questions)
  3. Total Marks: 100 marks
  4. Duration: 120 minutes (2 hours)
  5. Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
  6. Examination Scheme: The paper is divided into two key sections:
  7. Technical Section (50 Questions): The technical section focuses on core electrical engineering subjects. It includes 50 questions that cover essential concepts and applications in the field of electrical engineering.
  8. Non-Technical Section (50 Questions): This section includes questions on computer knowledge, logical reasoning, GK and GS, general English and general Hindi.

BSPHCL JEE (GTO) Minimum Qualifying Marks

The Minimum Qualifying Marks (%) / Normalised Score in the CBT will be 40 for UR, 36.5 for BC, 34 for EBC & 32 for SC/ST/ Female candidates. A merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained by the candidates in CBT (Computer Based test). Candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:1 (actual vacancy advertised) from the merit list for documents/ certificate verification.

BSPHCL Junior Engineer (JE) Selection Process

The selection process for BSPHCL JEE consists of a Computer-Based Test (CBT), which forms the primary stage of assessment. Candidates will be evaluated based on their performance in this test. There is no interview stage, so excelling in the CBT is critical. If CBT is conducted in multiple batches the answer sheet will be evaluated using Z-Normalised Score Method. The final selection will be based on the report of documents verification as well as the merit.
