General knowledge: National and international current affairs, Indian history and culture, Indian polity, geography, economy and general science.
Subject Based: Indian Water Transportation Sector, Indian Ports, Waterways and Shipping, etc. Other relevant professional questions as per precribed qualification for the given post.

- Objective type test is qualifying in nature to appear for personal interview.
- Minimum 50% marks to qualify written test for Unreserved/EWS, 45% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST and PwBD.

- There is no negative marking and each question carry one mark each.
