Paper-I will be qualifying in nature and its marks will not count in final merit list.
All three paper will have time duration of 2 hours each.
Each question carry 3 marks for right answer, however 1 mark will be deducted against wrong answer as negative marking.
Exam will be conducted in 3 different shifts, same day or different day.
Final selection will be based on merit list based on marks obtained in mains exam.

Jharkhand Field Worker Syllabus 2024

Paper-I (Language Knowledge)

Hindi: स्वर एवं व्यंजन, स्वर और व्यंजन वर्णों का वर्गीकरण, संज्ञा, सर्वनाम, विचार, तत्सम, तद्भव, प्रत्यय, उपसर्ग, समास, संधि, पर्यायवाची, विलोम, वाक्यांश के लिए एक शब्द, मुहावरे एवं लोकोक्ति, विराम चिन्ह |
English: Vocabulary, spelling, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, sentence completion, phrases and idiomatic use of words etc.

Paper-II (Local Language): Questions from local language as per selected in the application form for mains exam (paper-II). Question will be asked with high school (10th) level.

Paper III (General Knowledge)

General Studies: GK and current affairs- national and international including economic issues, polity issues, environment issues, science and technology and any other current issues.
Jharkhand GK: Jharkhand history and its culture, geography, economy, climate, agriculture, famous places and tourism.
General Maths: Number Systems, Simplification, Decimals, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs.
General Science: Basic questions related to science of 10th level.

Field Worker Most Important Topics

Public Health: Awareness of sanitation, clean water supply, disease control, vaccination drives, etc.
Environmental Issues: Waste management, air, water, sound pollution control, and environmental sustainability.
Rural and Urban Development: Knowledge of central and Jharkhand state government schemes related to urban and rural development (such as MGNREGA, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, etc).
Important Disease: Knowledge of important disease, health issues in Jharkhand. Their method of spreading, control and mode of treatment.
