Written Examination: The written exam shall comprise of two papers, Paper-I and Paper-II. The subjects covered and exam pattern are given below:

Odisha Police Jr. Clerk Qualifying Marks
The minimum qualifying marks in the Written Test of each individual subject in Paper-I and II for UR & SEBC candidate is 35 and for SC & ST candidates is 30. There will be no relaxation in minimum qualifying marks for the candidates belonging to Special Category such as Ex-Servicemen, Sportspersons and PwD. Only those candidates, who obtain such minimum qualifying marks in the written test, as fixed by the Board, shall be called for Basic Computer Practical Skill Test.

Syllabus for English and Odia Language Test (100 Marks)
- English Grammar including Verbs, Tenses, Modal, Active and Passive Voice, Subject-verb Agreement.
- Connectors, Types of Sentences, Direct and Indirect Speech, Comparison.

Odisha Police Junior Clerk Basic Computer Skill Practical Test
Practical Skill Test on Computer (Full Mark: 50): Only those shortlisted candidates, who obtain minimum qualifying marks in the written test, as fixed by the Board shall be called for Practical Skill Test on Computer.
The Practical Skill Test on Computer shall also be of qualifying nature. The minimum qualifying mark in the Practical Skill Test on Computer for UR & SEBC candidate is 18 and for SC & ST candidates is 15. There will be no relaxation in minimum qualifying marks for the candidates belonging to Special Category such as Ex-Servicemen, Sportspersons and PwDs.
