UKPSC APS Syllabus 2024 Upper Niji Sachiv Exam Pattern (Typing, Computer & Mains)

Uttarakhand Public Service Commission will soon going to conduct written examination on 99 posts of additional private secretary/ upper private secretary/ Upper Niji Sachiv. The shorthand and typing exam 2024 has been scheduled to be conducted in the month of October where as second stage examination will be notified to candidate in the upcoming months.

Uttarakhand Upper Niji Sachiv Preliminary (1st Stage) Exam Pattern

1. Applicants who will clear Hindi and English typing test will be eligible for computer knowledge exam.
2. After clearing computer knowledge test, applicants will be called on for Hindi and English shorthand typing test.
3. All the examinations mentioned in stage 1 are qualifying in nature.
4. Final selection is based on mains written exam in stage 2.
5. Detailed syllabus of stage 1 is given below:-

APS Computer Knowledge, Typing, Shorthand (Stenography) Test Syllabus 2024

Hindi Typing (15 Marks):- Minimum Hindi typing speed 8000 key depression per hour. In case applicant failed to deliver 8000 key depression per hour Hindi typing speed, he or she will be considered disqualified. Marks as per Hindi typing are mentioned below:-

English Typing (15 Marks): Minimum English typing speed 9000 key depression per hour. In case applicant failed to deliver 9000 key depression per hour English typing speed, he or she will be considered disqualified. Marks as per English typing are mentioned below:-

Uttarakhand APS Computer Knowledge Test Syllabus

1. Basic knowledge of working on windows on desktops and laptops with peripherals like printer, scanner microphone, speaker and working knowledge of Software installation/uninstallation, operating systems update.
2. Working knowledge of Word processing packages and Unicode language basic knowledge (Microsoft word, Open office etc.)
3. Working knowledge of Spread Sheets in Microsoft office excel & libra. Working knowledge of Hyperlink, attachment, upload/download.
4. Conversant in the use of world wide web and popular websites (for Railway/Air Reservation, search engines like google, information web site like Wikipedia, including government websites and 1905 CM helpline portal etc.)
5. Working knowledge of E-mailing (sending, sending with attachment, reading, saving, printing, maintaining address etc.)
6. Working knowledge of preparation of presentations (power point, PDF etc.) with different styles and animations)

Upper Niji Sachiv Hindi & English Shorthand Typing Test

Minimum Hindi shorthand speed of 80 words per minute where as a minimum 100 words per minute shorthand typing speed in English is required to qualifying both Hindi and English shorthand test. 35 minutes will be provided to candidate to shorthand 5 min dictation/ sentence.

Uttarakhand Upper Niji Sachiv Mains (2nd Stage) Exam Pattern

• Negative marking is applicable in GS paper.
• GS paper will be of 2 hours where as essay paper will be of 3 hours.
• 0.25 marks will be deducted for wrong answer.
• Minimum 35 marks is required to qualify essay test.

1. अधुनातन राष्ट्रीय तथा अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय एवं उत्तराखण्ड की महत्वपूर्ण घटनाएं सामान्य विज्ञान एवं साइबर अपराध, सारबर सुरक्षा की बुनियादी बातें, सुरक्षा में बायोमैट्रिक उपकरणों की भूमिका ।
2. भारत का इतिहास (प्राचीन, मध्यकालीन एवम् आधुनिक भारत के संदर्भ में)
3. भारत का भूगोल, कृषि, जनसंख्या एवं आपदा प्रबंधन ( आपदा प्रबंधन राज्य परिपेक्ष्य में)
4. भारतीय संविधान, अर्थ व्यवस्था एवं संस्कृति
5. उत्तराखण्ड का भोगोलिक विवरण, (हिमालयी राज्य के परिपेक्ष्य में कृषि, पशुपालन, कृषि, बागवानी, पर्यटन, खनिज संपदा, वन एवं पर्यावरण
6. उत्तराखण्ड की जनगणना, आर्थिक सर्वेक्षण / बजट, राजनैतिक एवं ऐतिहासिक पृष्ठभूमि एवं राष्ट्रीय / राज्य आन्दोलन में सहभागिता
7. उत्तराखण्ड की शिक्षा, संस्कृति ( जनजाति, सामाजिक विविधता, परम्परायें, प्रथाएं, रहन–सहन, सामाजिक प्रथाओं के संबंध में विशिष्ट जानकारी)

1. अपठित गद्यांश और प्रश्नोत्तर तथा अपठित गद्यांश का शीर्षक एवं अंग्रेजी से हिन्दी में अनुवाद

3. पत्र एवं कार्यालयीय विभिन्न पत्रों (शासकीय पत्र, अर्द्धशासकीय पत्र, कार्यालय ज्ञाप, कार्यालय आदेश, अनुस्मारक, अधिसूचना, आदि) का आलेखन
